Standard Savings Accounts

Any member can open a savings account with a minimum deposit of $5.00 and start earning interest on balances over $500.00. Once a savings account is open, the member has access to all Credit Union products and services. A valid driver’s license, or state-issued ID, is needed to open an account. The Kasasa Saver is a rewards based savings account. Members must have a Kasasa Checking account to have a Kasasa Saver. The Saver earns a high interest on available balances. There are no minimum balance requirements to start earning rewards. More information on the Kasasa Saver.

A savings account designed to help members save for holiday expenses. This is an interest bearing savings account that requires a minimum $5.00 deposit to open. This program runs annually from November 1st through October 31st, members can enroll in the club at any time and the account is automatically renewed each year until the account is closed. Funds in the account are distributed annually on October 31st.

A savings account designed to teach young Credit Union members (newborn to age 12) about the importance of saving. The Star Saver program offers special incentives to the young saver.

A savings account designed to help teenager Credit Union members (ages 13 – 17) learn about the importance of saving and gain knowledge of financial products and services. The Teen Saver program offers special incentives to the teen saver.

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government, insures your shares to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. OKFCU provides additional coverage through Excess Share Insurance.
